An Art Déco glass vase of mottled red, decorated with white & violet 'mosaic' inclusions then blown out into a wrought iron armature.

This piece orginally would have had a 'Lorrain' signature painted in enamel on the glass. However over time these signatures tended wear off with & cleaning. Identical examples of this vase exist bearing the Lorrain signature and can be confidentally attributed to this glassworks.

'Verreries d'Art Lorraine' was a subsiduary of the Daum glassworks and produced glass items that were commercial than the finer Art Glass at the daum works.
