The obverse depicting a nude water carrier illuminated by an electrical flood-lamp. The reverse a city scape of the Trocadero in Paris. Signed R.Cochet (Robert Cochet 1903-1988, French Medallist).

- The Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques dans la Vie Moderne (International Exposition of Art and Technology in Modern Life), was held from 25 May to 25 November 1937 in Paris and featured several spectacular illuminated fountains as a highlight of its technological and artistic displays. These illuminated fountains were a major feature of the demonstrating advancements in lighting, water, and mechanics, as well as the era's artistic sensibilities.
