An Art Déco bronze medallion. The obverse depicting a woman on the bow of a ship holding a lamp personifying the City of Paris. The Latin motto "FLVCTVAT NEC MERGITVR" which translates to "It is tossed by the waves but does not sink". The reverse depicts the Hôtel de Ville(Paris City Hall.
