A fine quality Art Nouveau ceramic vase decorated with crystalline drip glazes and gilt & chased panels imitating bronze, featuring oak leaves & acorns. Mounted on a gilt bronze footed base. Signed with applied gilt cachet 'Louchet Ciseleur'.

*Paul Louchet (1854-1936) was an important engraver ciseleur working in Paris in the late 19th - early 20th Century. He worked with both gilded metals & ceramics.
