A large & rare Art Déco medallion commerating the bi-centennial of the birth of artist Jean-Honoré Fragonard in 1732. The obverse depicting a profile bust of the artist. The reverse depicting an allegory of painting with a nude with brush & palette while two fauns kneeling either side of her. With origninal fitted leather pouch.

French, dated 1932.
