Laufen - Art Déco Porcelain Tiger

An Art Déco white porcelain statuette of a seated tiger. Base stamped 'LAUFEN' with impressed numbers 432 & 101.

Swiss, circa 1930.

*No confirmed details about a possible maker of this statuette could be found other than a company named Laufen that has been in existance in Switzerland for over 100 years. Currently, they are manufacturing high-end porcelain bathroom wares. It would be a fair assumption that these manufacturers at some point in time, produced decorative objects.

CONDITION: Very good. Minor black inclusion to glaze on back. A small loose object moving about internally.
