An Art Nouveau cameo glass vase featuring a design of the Vosges mountains in France. The flared cylindrical form often referred to Patte d'éléphant (Elephant foot). The white ground swirled with rose & blue is overlaid with a deep violet then acid-etched and wheel carved with a mountain forest landscape. Signed in cameo 'Gallé.
