*The imagery most likely relates to the Greek mythological figure of Almathea who is associated with carrying a goat across her shoulders.
** After WWII when the firm of Etling et Cie ceased to exist, Marius Sabino appropriated the mould for this figure then produced it in a smaller size at 18cm. It is clearly marked Sabino'.
