An Art Nouveau cameo glass vase of bottle form, decorated with a design of gum-leaves, gum-nuts and flowers. Signature in cameo with a star *Gallé.

French, circa 1905-1908.

After Emile Galle's death in 1904, his widow and sons took control of the company. From 1907 the company became Établissements Gallé. For four years after Gallé's death, glass was signed with a star beside the signature. Gallé glass from this era can be dated within a four year time-frame.
