An Art Déco bronze aviation medallion. The obverse depicting a nude winged female figure representing flight beside a pair of biplanes. The reverse with a dedication from the École Bréguet, (Bréguet Aeronautical School). In original presentation case.

*This medal was awarded to pilot Bernard Choulet, commemorating an achievement or presentation at the Bréguet aeronautical school. Sous-Lieutenant Bernard-Louis Choulet was a French military pilot born on October 2, 1912. He completed specialized aviation training at the prestigious École Bréguet (a renowned French engineering school specializing in electrical and aeronautical training) before serving as a reconnaissance and observation pilot during World War II. He served with the reconnaissance group GR I/35 and was killed in action on May 18, 1942, in Tunisia near El-Aouina.
