A rare Art Déco opalescent glass vase of lozenge form, moulded with a nude on each side with a deer. Moulded signature "ETLING FRANCE" to base.

*This model vase is not very often seen. Possibly designed by Geneviève Granger but could be also by Lucile Sevin. Both artists designed for the firm of Edmond Etling in the 1920s/30s. Granger and Sevin mainly featured female nudes in their designs. Sevin's nudes were predominantly Classic in inspiration, while Granger's appeared more contemporary and usually sported the bobbed hairs tyles of the 1920s/30s. Hence her attribution to this vase.
