An early glass cameo vase, the rose coloured ground overlaid with a pale green then acid-etched & wheel carved with a design of Virginia creeper. The ground finished with a 'martelé' / 'hammered' finish that is actually wheel cut and polished to create a dimpled effect. Signed 'Daum, Nancy with the Croix de Lorraine in gilt enamel to the base.
