An Art Déco porcelain vase of baluster form, hand decorated with enamels & gilding featuring butterflies and floral motifs on a mottle blue lustre ground. Decorator's signature C.Howe to body. Printed gold backstamp with series name 'Rural Lustrine'

"Rural Lusterine" was the series name for Crown Devon Fieldings lustre ware. It was used between 1917-30.
