- C. Charles is the name of a sculptor, Charles Charles. Not much information is known about him and the name is most likely a pseudonym. The "C. Charles" signature appears frequently on sculptures of the 1920s & 30s, often in a pronounced art déco style. These sculptures were either of animals or of the female form. It is known that C. Charles had a long standing collaboration with the Parisian firm of Editions Max Le Verrier during the 1920s & 30s, designing many sculptures for Le Verrier.
