Arthus Bertrand - 'Nike' Plaquette

A beautifully cast, high relief bronze plaquette depicting Nike, the winged Goddess of Victory, after the 'Winged Victory of Samothrace' sculpture housed in the Musée du Louvre. The obverse with dedication for a shooting competition in Bordeaux.

French, dated 1938.

CONDITION: Very good. Small pin prick sized scrape to obverse, top left.
