A rare aviation medallion commemorating Costes and Le Brix flight from Senegal to Brazil completing the first non-stop crossing of the South Atlantic in 1927. The obverse with profiles of the pilots. The reverse with a bi-plane with map of the flight path between Africa & South America. Signed Anie Mouroux (1887-1978). Stamped 'Bronze' to edge.

Joseph Le Brix (1899 – 1931) & Dieudonné Costes (1892 – 1973) were the first pilots to fly the first non-stop aerial crossing of the South Atlantic in a Breguet XIX aircraft in October of 1927.
