A large Art Déco octagonal bronze medallion commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Société Générale Alsacienne de Banque. The obverse depicting a woman carrying a cornucopia of fruit & flowers. The reverse depicting a steamship, the spire of the Strasbourg Cathedral and a winged caduceus overlaid on a cogwheel, symbolizing commerce, banking, and industry.
