A large Art Deco octagonal bronze medal for the Comité Français des Expositions (French Committee of Exhibitions).The obverse depicts a profile of Mercury holding a caduceus in front of a cogged wheel representing the modern machine age. The reverse with a torch and Classical laurel branch wreath, symbolizing merit, honor and achievement.
